Celebrating Fails with Tesa Ho | Power of Struggle #3
Tesa Ho is Hong Kong’s first female black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, has a black belt in Taekwondo, a trader by profession and is passionate about empowering others using BJJ as the medium, especially women.
Today's conversation is with Tesa Ho. Tesa is Hong Kong’s first female black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, has a black belt in Taekwondo, a trader by profession, surfs and skates, a cookie enthusiast, and an all-round cool individual. She started BJJ 15 years ago with Gracie Elite Team in San Francisco, under the tutelage of Carlson Gracie Jr.
Tesa is passionate about empowering others using BJJ as the medium, especially women. Her profession enables her to share and connect with athletes around the world. Hearing how she observed people changing for the better through this sport is inspiring in itself. Tesa has been interviewed by South China Morning Post, BJJ Asia, Jiu-Jitsu Films, and has been mentioned on several BJJ competition news sites. Fun fact, she rolled with Anthony Bourdain ;)
